Lemongrass divisions!

My father-in-law expressed interest at having some lemongrass divisions, so I was only too happy to send him some. I divided up one of my plants for the year a couple of weeks ago, and set them out to recover in cups. Well, I pulled two out of their cups to send to him and this is what was in the cups:

I love these plants! They're impossible to kill, resilient, and amazingly tasty. What more could you want??

someone sent me some divisions bare root and clipped off the leaves. I'm not sure if it's too low, but I'm a little worried. Will it be okay? I don't want it to die ;-;

Bebop, it should be fine. I ship mine bare root and clipped leaves. Even if they trimmed the leaves below the terminal part of the plant, it should send up new growths from the base. They're pretty tough little plants! I've used a weedeater on mine before and they sprang back quickly. :)
